Personality: Bernard is a shy, unassuming young man, nearly polite to a fault. Actually, to the point where his peers consider him stuck up and a bore, neither of which are truly the case. Having been an awkward boy through most of his childhood, he was often the target of cruel jokes and never had much by way of friends. As a result, he doesn't put much stock in himself when it comes to anything remotely social.
History: Bernard was born the only child to a socialite mother and a father who acts as owner and editor of one of London's stranger tabloids. Bernard grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth, attended all the right schools, and knows all the right people through his parents. But his parents don't know him at all and sometimes, he's just fine with that.
At the moment, Bernard is working as a staff photographer for his father's tabloid, but his one great hope is to someday go to school to become a professional photographer and shoot pictures of other things besides fake Elvises and alleged alien implants. His parents have other plans for him. His life, as it stands, is in a rut. Until he develops a taste for Italian.
